Infrared micronisation helps break down the starch within the barley, improving digestion in the small intestine and allowing horses to use the available energy more efficiently. Its naturally palatable flakes are also ideal for encouraging fussy eaters.

Feeding Information

Introduce HYGAIN Micrbarley® gradually over 7–14 days. Feed by weight rather than volume and adjust the amount according to your horse’s age, breed, workload, appetite, body condition and environmental conditions.

HYGAIN Micrbarley® is a straight grain and is not a complete or nutritionally balanced feed. It should be incorporated into a balanced ration that provides suitable protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in roughage each day, divide concentrates into smaller meals and ensure clean, fresh water is always available.
