HYGAIN Tru Breed® is a fully fortified, steam-extruded feed formulated to meet the increased nutritional requirements of stallions, pregnant and lactating mares, foals and growing horses.

Its balanced combination of quality protein, controlled starch, fibre and fat supports reproductive health, milk production, body condition and healthy young-horse development. Steam extrusion improves starch digestion, while prebiotics and fibre support hindgut health and immunity.

Ingredients

Protein meals, legume hulls, cereals, canola oil, rice bran oil, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, salt, HYGAIN vitamin and mineral premix, lysine and prebiotics.

Feeding Information

Introduce HYGAIN Tru Breed® gradually over 7–14 days. Feed by weight rather than volume and adjust the amount according to the horse’s age, breed, reproductive stage, appetite, body condition and environmental conditions.

Provide at least 1.5% of the horse’s body weight in roughage each day, divide concentrates into smaller meals and ensure clean, fresh water is always available.

Do not add additional vitamin or mineral supplements unless recommended by an equine nutritionist or veterinarian.
