Feeding Information

Introduce HYGAIN Micrlupin® gradually over 7–14 days. Feed by weight rather than volume and adjust the amount according to your horse’s age, breed, workload, appetite, body condition and environmental conditions.

HYGAIN Micrlupin® is a straight feed and is not a complete or nutritionally balanced ration. It should be incorporated into a balanced diet that provides suitable forage, vitamins and minerals.

Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in roughage each day, divide concentrates into smaller meals and ensure clean, fresh water is always available.

Horses with laminitis, insulin dysregulation or other metabolic concerns should have their complete diet assessed by a veterinarian or qualified equine nutritionist.
