Its blend of superfibres is fermented by beneficial microbes in the hindgut, providing digestive-friendly energy to support healthy weight gain and body condition. The easy-to-soak nuggets can also be prepared as a soft mash, making them suitable for senior horses, horses with poor dental health and those needing additional water intake.

Feeding Information

Introduce HYGAIN Fibressential® gradually over 7–14 days. Feed by weight rather than volume and adjust the amount according to your horse’s age, breed, workload, appetite, body condition and environmental conditions.

HYGAIN Fibressential® can be fed dry or soaked to create a soft mash. When feeding soaked, allow the nuggets to soften fully before serving and discard any uneaten wet feed before it spoils.

This product is a fibre source and should be incorporated into a balanced diet that meets your horse’s protein, vitamin and mineral requirements.

Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in total roughage each day, divide concentrates into smaller meals and ensure clean, fresh water is always available.
