HYGAIN Balanced® is a concentrated, low-feeding-rate pellet containing quality protein, essential amino acids, vitamins and chelated minerals. It is designed to balance forage-based diets without adding a large volume of hard feed.

With 25% protein and only 5% starch, HYGAIN Balanced® is ideal for good-doing or overweight horses, as well as horses with increased nutritional requirements due to work, growth or pregnancy. Added prebiotics and probiotics support digestive health, while vitamin E, selenium and biotin provide further support for muscles, cardiovascular health, hooves, skin and coat condition.

Ingredients

Protein meals, cereals, bran, pollard, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, salt, HYGAIN vitamin and mineral premix, lysine, prebiotics and probiotics.

Feeding Information

Introduce HYGAIN Balanced® gradually over 7–14 days. Feed by weight rather than volume and adjust the amount according to your horse’s age, breed, workload, appetite, body condition and environmental conditions.

Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in roughage each day, divide concentrates into smaller meals and ensure clean, fresh water is always available.

Do not add additional vitamin or mineral supplements unless recommended by an equine nutritionist or veterinarian.
